Here's the deal:
I submitted 2 flashmovies to the portal.

Conditions Episode 1: The New Reign
Conditions Episode 2: Consequences
Both submissions won an award: Daily feature, and Daily 4th.

Now the ironic part is:
WTF?!

Let me explain, what the big deal is.
- Daily first has got a worse score than Daily 4th (?)
- I worked a lot harder, and the flash is much nicer, on the 2nd episode (Daily 1st),
however, it is still lower than the 4th place?

I don't know what's wrong with NG nowadays, but it sure is fucked up...

And if you happen to read this, and your name happens to be Tom Fulp.

PS.: If you're still Tom Fulp, could you explain me HOW to send you the NG Bytesize....

I read it and front paged Ep. 1! The scores are off because at the moment our system selected the winners, the scores were different than they are now and one was ahead of the other.

My email is on the staff page - tom AT newgrounds D0T com. I haven't updated Bytesize in a while... I've been tempted to package them up as a series of collabs and then just scrap Bytesize from the front page.

I don't know, if the Bytesize is like the portal, constantly being updated, it's quite a swell idea.
I guess you're too busy to update Bytesizes.

I never quite get NG myself. I have 2 Portal awards, 2 History Of The Portal references and the 18th most viewed entry of all time. On Christmas I entered a toon that was so much better than anything I previously put out, at least visually. Fell just short of the top 5. I'm not discrediting any of the winning entries.. but I just don't know what gets you noticed sometimes. I'm just going back to my old philosophy of 'don't try so hard..' =o)

The reason why the DailyFeature is now lower is because it had a higher score when it won. People watched it, because it was daily 1st. Judging from my experience with NG, the daily firsts usually drop by 0.2 when they're not made by famous animators. Your daily 4th did not drop, because nobody watches daily 4th's. That's pretty much the reason, I guess.
