What the hell? 4.32?

Never mind the score. Now let's talk about how much this flash is really worth.
I like the way how you ridiculed with the seriousness of the movie, then end of with a "surprising" ending.

It was funny I guess, but unexpected endings are now really expectable. It's not like violence justifies every quality of humor. But a lot of users think so.
This whole flash contained one joke, and a very short one for that matter.

Nevertheless, good show.

"Nice idea"

There seems to be something wrong though, but not with your animation.
It's like there's a huge fad of combining reallife footage with Flash graphics.

Not that I don't like it though.
But (there's always a but), people seem to forget that this animation isn't much different than a normal animation. I actually have considered the fact that it must have been a pain in the ass to paste the scenes to each other.

But apart from the reallife footage, the animation is quite plain.
Actually, if you have submitted this without the books flipping, I think you would score much worse. Like if you intend to flip a book, your animation will get better.

I do think that people think I'm a jerk for criticizing this matter, but that's what I thought. The reviewers here are to judge your Flash, so it can't be helped.

Besides a 7 isn't bad at all :).

"Funny"

I understand that this movie really is hilarious.
I actually laughed out loud. You don't hear me complaining that this is a bad flash.

But 4.26? Oh c'mon.
There hardly was any animation in it, mostly tweenings, but that's not the fault of the author, amirite?

I gave you the score you deserved, that would be a 7.
Anyone else who disagrees: Shut up.

Watch / Make movies yourself, and you'll appreciate critic reviews aswell.

"Too short"

Although I'm fan of Minami-ke myself, I think this movie material is way too short.
No doubt, it's funny. But I don't think the average NG user would know of Minami-ke, and even understand what the situation is about.

Also, these shorts are acceptable on Deviantart level, but certainly not on Newgrounds. A flash on Newgrounds should be a completed movie, refined and such.

Keep making nice movies, but remember to have a certain length.

You see, I'm working on a Flash movie myself, and I felt like i abandoned Flash for a long time, because I haven't released anything since a year.

I also want to experiment with 3D, and you show that 2D animation can blend well with 3D.

So yeah, the movie was funny.
Right, the movie wasn't bad at all.

But how did it got to your small brains to vote so high on this movie?!
It's BLACK and WHITE. Like the tv my grandpa watched when he was 10.
No colors, myesh, no shading.

The humour was okay, but but predictable.

Now I can even predict something more:
bunch of fanboys will disagree with my review, by voting "abusive" or something.

Jesus, grow up, it's an opinion, and it's a very true one too.

Excellent. I haven't seen such good animations since a long time. This is Adam Phillips worthy!

The camera is unbelievably smooth, and the special effects are the best!
Certainly waiting for part 2, and I hope it's as good as part 1.

You'll need to draw a decent background. Just a blanck space is not enough.

And also, you need to animate your characters with more efforts, instead of lazy techniques to mask it.

To be honest, just using random movie sounds is not cool. I think you need to make a real piece, with story and all. A flash that's really original, instead of these short, random flashmovies you make when you've got nothing to do.

Sorry if you feel insulted, but only the Narutards helped you to reach the current score.

I'm a Narutard myself, but at least be more original. I don't like the idea of a flash being overrated, just because there's a loved character in your movie.

I am a Narutard myself, and I have to say that this flash is ok.

I liked the way how you made up your own story. And I also think you could refine your style, because it would look really good if you perfect it.

The simple use of color made it a bit boring, so try to add more shadow in it, and work on the detail.
